Ben Nevis and beyond

Well Ben Nevis is popular this year.  So far we've taken half of Mcfly, the occasional East Enders star, a team from the Co-op, and a bakers dozen other groups who were all raising money for fantastic causes such as Amantani and Women's Aid.
If you've already climbed Ben Nevis, then try the National 3 Peaks Challenge. If you've done that then try Mt Toubkal in Morocco. If you've done that then come with us to Tanzania to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. There is always something else to try.  We don't believe that something like this should be a once in a lifetime experience and it's because of this that we do what we do.  Facebook profiles around the world are littered with albums full to the brim with shots of people in bars. And while we certainly don't object to people enjoying a few drinks every now and then, we can't help but wonder how people go on holiday and miss so much.
So if you're bored with the same old thing, give us a ring and we will show you what's out there.

Ash Cloud

Ash cloud? What ash cloud?  It will take more than that to put a stop to any of our trips.
If you're taking part on any of our upcoming trips, an email has already been sent to let you know what to do next.  If you're thinking about booking any of our upcoming trips, don't let this stop you. We will inform you of any changes to travel time that you will need to take into account when booking time off work.  We are not currently taking bookings for any trip to Iceland for obvious reasons but as yet, no other destinations have been affected.  We will be keeping a close eye on Icelands new donation to air travel and update our clients accordingly.
On a lighter note, we still have plenty of space on our Mt Toubkal trips for September, April and May.  This really is an amazing adventure and can be done on foot or horseback.  Check out our website for a detailed itinerary of the trek at http://www.horizonadventures.co.uk/ or call us for more details on any of our trips on 01865 604292.
This trips is available for groups of all sizes, and even open to people wishing to take part on their own.
Call us now for more details.

A Slightly More Classy Affair

The bar has been set.  This weekend Horizon Adventures teamed up with The Smiling Grape Company to provide one of the best hen parties any woman could wish for.
We started with a champagne breakfast, strawberries and cream and the soundtrack to Dirty Dancing (we weren't at all happy about this, but unfortunatly we had no say with regards to the playlist).  We then turned the girls over to our friends at The Smiling Grape Company ( http://www.smilinggrape.com/ ), who took them on a wine tour that is rivalled by none.
While the girls were busy being quiet and responsible, we were busy organising their pick up from the wine tour-  3 stretch limousines complete with mini bars.
After we picked them up we drove them into the centre of London where we dropped them off and our service ended. The rest of the night was theirs to enjoy.
We're very sorry London- they were fine when they left us.

If you would like something similar to celebrate any event, please get in touch with us via phone or email.
All contact information is found at http://www.horizonadventures.co.uk/

We look forward to doing something like this again, so if you don't do it for yourself, do it for us.

Horseback Adventures

New to Horizon Adventures are several horseback adventure trips including Horseback Romania and Horseback Morocco.  These trips are not yet on our website but itineraries are available by contacting us via email ( info@horizonadventures.co.uk )  or phone on 01865 604292.
They cater for all levels of experience and comfort and last for anything from 4 to 14 days.  So if you've ever fancied trekking through the Atlas mountains or Sahara Desert, but hate the thought of walking in tough conditions, these trips are for you.  Maybe you like the idea of visiting WW1 trench systems and camping under the stars next to a camp fire?  If so, then get in touch and ask about our Horseback experiences.

If William and Catherine happen to stumble across this blog- these trips make an excellent honeymoon!  Alternatively, if you weren't lucky enough to get married in Westminster Abbey you can still get in touch as it will probably be an even better honeymoon for you as you wont be surrounded by security staff.

Whatever your reason for taking part, get in touch with us and we can give you one of the best holiday adventures of your life.

National 3 Peaks Challenge

Starting this weekend, Horizon Adventures are running the National 3 Peaks Challenge every 2 weeks until August 7th and every week from then until September 18th.
This is a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one that is certain to stay with you for quite some time.

Britain is unfortunatly often overlooked as a holiday destination, but we urge you to consider this as a fantastic place to explore.  As a travel company we run treks all over the world and we're starting to notice that people are exploring the rest of the world before they explore home.  This may be because celebrity trekkers are fundraising for red nose day in a BBC special in Kenya, or it may be because people simply don't realise that there is an adventure on their doorstep.  Whatever the reason, we want this to change so we're offering a range of UK trips from the National 3 Peaks Challenge or individual summits of the 3 mountains, to full blown military scenarios such as "Escape and Evade".

email us now to enquire about any of our trips and explore the UK today!  info@horizonadventures.co.uk or visit our website at http://www.horizonadventures.co.uk/

St George's Day Skydive

This year the 23rd of April wasn't just to celebrate St George's Day. It also saw a handfull of people finally do something they'd talked about for years.
The weather was perfect- low winds and bright, warm sunshine.  Horizon Adventures took a group of guys down to an airfield to have one of the best days ever!
If you would also like to know how it feels to fall from 13,000ft at 120mph then call us on 01865 604292, or email info@horizonadventures.co.uk for more information.
This is an unforgetable experience, and one that will make you want more.  Visit our website for details on the different types of jumps on offer. http://www.horizonadventures.co.uk/

Kilimanjaro

Come and join us on The Roof of Africa!  Spaces on our Kilimanjaro trips are filling up quick for this year, so get in touch soon and secure your place on this epic adventure.  Horizon Adventures offer you this trip with the same attention to detail and content as larger companies, but at a price you can afford.  Visit our website for details and booking forms at http://www.horizonadventures.co.uk/ or email us at info@horizonadventures.co.uk with any questions you have about the trip.

Kilimanjaro has always been a must for anyone wanting to broaden their horizons, but it was pushed into the limelight in 2009 when 9 celebrities summited the famous African mountain.   Comic Relief was the stage for the challenge on this occasion, and the likes of Chris Moyles, Cheryl Cole, Ronan Keating, and Denise Van Outen managed to raise over £1.3m!
We're not expecting you to raise anything, although you can if you wish. All we ask is that you join us for one of the most amazing experiences Africa has to offer.

Contact us now to make this dream a reality.
